Hi.

I’m a motion designer and composer. I absolutely love making things, especially time-based things, ie: animation and music and I feel so fortunate that I get to spend my time being creative. I first cut my teeth on motion design as a staffer with an SF company called Elastic Creative. I was there from 1999 to 2005, starting when desktop motion graphics were barely even a thing. I’ve been freelance since 2005. Over the years I’ve had the good fortune to work with many amazing people on hundreds of projects for companies like Google, Adobe, Medtronics, T-Mobile, EA Sports, Meta, Applied Materials, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, PG&E, and others. I took some time off from 2014 to 2019 or so to pursue music composition degrees at the Lionel Hampton School of Music and then the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I’m from northern California and am now based in Moscow, Idaho where I live with my wife, writer Alexandra Teague, and our goofy husky, Laska. When I’m not animating or composing, I’m usually hiking with Laska, cooking spicy soup, or performing with one of the various bands I’m in.
